The gShe platform is a timeless opportunity to learn and relearn the topics I hear about everyday freely. The first course available was communication to which I enrolled first. When I saw the title- communication, I didn’t think I was going to learn so many new things and as I saw there was to be a quiz I thought I’ll pass it easily, but I was wrong. As I learned the various ways to communicate with others, I will use these to communicate with my surroundings. I’ll still go through the course though I completed it because I want to retain all of it.

Knowledge is very important in human life, we should never stop seeking it. I was lucky to be introduced to the gShe platform, which has many different courses which help one grow in knowledge in many different areas that ranges from communication, Gender, Sexual Health & Wellbeing, and Sexual & Reproductive Health, among many others. I took part in all these different courses, which I later found were very rich in various areas of focus with different real-life examples.

Mon expérience n'a pas été très fructueuse car j'ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes lors de mon parcours car je pas pu faire la totalité des cours. Mais j'ai pu faire un en particulier qui fait allusion à la communication. L'importance de la communication: les types de communication, directe et indirecte, les types d'auditeur:le bon et le mauvais auditeurs, ect... J'ai bien aimé le cours en ligne c'était très attrayant plein de connaissances c'est à dire comment s'exprimer pour qu'on puisse mieux te comprends, comment comprendre les autres, comment encouragé les autres lors de leur communication c'était un merveilleux voyage J'ai beaucoup apprécié et j'ai aussi beaucoup appris pendant cette période . Je remercie toute l'équipe pour leur travail fourni !!"

I'm so happy that I was able and privilege to have taken this course because it has help me to know a lot, firstly with communication I learn how a good listener should behave when the speaker is speaking to let him or how are actually listening and to be a good communicator is to listen and talk. Secondly this course has make me to understand how Human rights come about and the person who fight Human rights like Mr Gandhi Indian and may other and lastly I learn a lot about gender because at first I know only about three gender but know I that the is more than 20 gender in the world and without taking this is course I would have no ideas like when you meet some it good to make sure know there pronoun first example if they like to he, she or they first.

Knowing how to express ourselves and understand other people when they do is important in communication. Communication ways differ for numerous reasons such as but not limited to sociatal norms and believe, gender roles and many more. Behaviors that enhance communication include; -Stating one's point often backedup by feelxs in the form "I" rather than "You". -Avoid generalizing opinion as everyone has rights to their own feelings and opinions. Be as clear as possible wen communicating. In conclusion the course on communication teaches us all abt the good n bad sides to avoid wen communicating, ignorance could very much influence ones ways of communication.

My experience navigating through the gShe courses hasn't really been an easy one.Despite the fact that I had taken some other online courses such as Yali learn , gShe has proven to be more effective and complex.Moreover one important remark about gShe which makes it stand out from other online courses is that with the gShe platform you can't copy and paste a message as such you need a pen and a paper to write down striking points. Besides it was impossible to jump from one course to another without completing the prerequisite course as well as impossible to continue to the next slide if you don't mark completed. Having completed 2 courses(Communication, sexual health and well being requires human rights and now on gender )its been an exciting journey discovering new ideas within the course Communication which gave some directives for effective communication. More so knowing how to express yourself so that you are understood and being able to understand what other people are trying to say which are empowering skills thus helps us develop our day to day relationship.

The gShe eCourse was the first course I had taken. All the courses on the portal where based around a common topic and it was structured so well that you needed to read the prerequisite before taking a course because the prerequisite course was going to help you in understanding the new course. There was a lot to learn , from communication, to gender to sexuality. I really loved the courses because it was not one-sided.
